Jensen Reunion

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE the Jensen Reunion. In our ten years of marriage, we have not missed one year because I love it so much. I have married into a very AWESOME family. On Sunday morning, we have a testimony meeting, and this year it was said over and over how welcomed the new people to the family felt. I wanted to stand up and say it to, but I'm not new. I just really love Trent's family.

Taggert is a kissing cousin already. He usually just singles one of the cousins out, but this year he was kissing all the girls just as much as they'd let him.

Uncle Jeff had about 10 little kids on his four wheeler. They all came running when he started it up.
Tanner and Mebbers, they finally started playing together this year! Yeah!
Whitley on the tire swing.
And Brinny Bug. She was very good for her first time at the reunion.

First day of school!

My two handsome boys all ready for the first day of school! Taggert started Kindergarten last Wednesday! I was really worried at first, but I think he is going to do just fine. There are a lot of good people looking at for him at the school and I think everyone wants to help him succeed. I know this sounds crazy, but he is already acting older after just four days of school.

Tanner is in a 3rd/4th split class because he is a smartie pants. I am really excited about his teacher this year. She will do well to push Tanner to the limit.

Not long after Whitley woke up, she started asking for Tanner. "Tanner, where are you?" We went downstairs for a minute and she started playing with his legos. I came back upstairs to finish whatever it was I was doing and forgot about her. Pretty soon I got thinking that it was really quiet so I went back downstairs looking for her. I looked in all the bedrooms down there and couldn't find her. I started freaking out a little bit, but then I went into the family room and there she was fast asleep.

Brinley's blessing

We blessed Brinley on Sunday and it was a good day! Her Grandma Reber made her blessing dress out of my wedding dress and it turned out so beautiful.

Trent with his dad and grandma with Brinley.

All my cute nephews and one Riley girl!

Summer fun

Brinley dipped her toes in the water. We went up to my dad's for a few days, just to try and get out of the heat. We found a splash pad that would have been fun, but Tag and Whitley were not impressed. I finally got Whitley to put her hand in it right before we left.

Taggert found a dumptruck and that was all he needed.

We went up to Cedar mtn. and went fishing. Tanner caught one! Grandma caught one, too!

We also went up to Idaho to see my nephew, Harold, and his cute wife, Allison, off to South Carolina. He is in the navy and will be going to school there for a couple of years. Then, he will be on a submarine! I am so proud of him. It was hard to see him go, but I am grateful for the choices he has made in his life(:

This is Tanner with his two favorite cousins, Cody and Bradley.

And, finally, this is what happen's when you trespass on my property. You get blown away by a .30/30

Brinley is a month old!

Brinley has been with us for a whole month! It is so hard to believe. She is getting longer, and a little chubbier, but I don't think she will be like Whitley. She is just starting to fit into 0-3 month clothes and is still in newborn diapers. I think she has acid reflux, though, just like Whitley. She just gets into these crying modes where you can't do anything to console her, and it's not just her "fussy" time because it happens at different times of the day and night. But we still love her. She is starting to stay awake longer, with her eyes open and everything. Taggert and Whitley still fight over who gets to hold her. It doesn't seem like I can sit and nurse her without Tag and Whitley wanting to sit right next to me, and kiss her and pull on her leg. Brinley is a really patient baby. I think she will be a lot like Trent, quiet and mellow. I am just grateful she is growing and is healthy, we can make it throuh acid reflux, that's a piece of cake(:

4th of July

We decided to just get out of the heat this year and found ourselves in Cedar. We went camping up on Trent's parents property on Cedar Mountain and then went into Cedar on the fourth to watch the fireworks and just hang out. It was weird not being with family, but it was nice to be out of the blazing heat.

What a Blessing!

I just met a lady at the Dr. office today who has a baby in the NICU because she had her at 26 weeks. She has been in there for two and a half months. Right at that moment I felt so blessed to have a healthy, sweet baby girl. And, even though she was a month early, she didn't have to stay even one extra day in the hospital. The doctor said today she looks perfect. She's gaining weight good, her color is good, she is pooping and peeing good. I am just really grateful for her. She is starting to have periods where she is wide eyed and bushy tailed where she just stares around at us all like she doesn't know quite what to think, but it is fun to see her eyes opened and be able to talk to her. The kids love her. Taggert and Whitley fight over who gets to hold her, but they are all so cute with her kissing her hands and her head and her cheeks.
